Seville, originally founded by Tartessians or Phoenicians, acquired great relevance as a Roman city, contributing several emperors born in the city. Nowadays, Seville is one of the cities with more charm and history in Europe. Among its monuments, we can mention the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Alcazar and the Archivo de Indias, which are World Heritage Sites by the Unesco, as well as the Torre del Oro or the Plaza de España, which are on the verge of being so. Seville has the largest historic centre in Spain and one of the largest in Europe and you can enjoy the melting pot resulting from the different civilizations that have inhabited the city .

But above all Seville is special because of its people. The joy with which its neighbours inhabit the city today makes a simple tour of any of its neighbourhoods an unforgettable travel experience. The varied, creative and original use of language fills the streets of this beautiful city with colour.

Sevilla highlights

Here is a list of the main tourist attractions that Sevilla has to offer.
  • Real Alcázar
  • Plaza de España
  • Catedral de Sevilla
  • Parque Maria Luisa
  • Barrio de Santa Cruz
  • Barrio de Triana
  • Iglesia del Salvador
  • Palacio de Dueñas

It is not a good idea to go into the centre of Seville with the van because of the infinite number of small and narrow streets that make up the city. We therefore recommend that you park in the Isla de la Cartuja area, south of the Maria Luisa Park or in a street near the Santa Justa train station. Watch out for the blue zone in Seville, one street does not have it but the next one does!

The options for visiting charming places without the mass tourism of the capital less than 1 hour away are very varied. We refer to such emblematic and historical cities as Carmona, Ecija, Morón de la Frontera or Alcalá de Guadaira.
